FAQ
Q: Does LoongScales need to be installed? A: No. It runs directly in the browser.
Q: Will my work be lost? A: No. The document is auto-saved in the browser's local database and survives refresh/close, but it disappears if you clear the browser cache. After you click the save button, the data is stored in the cloud database and will not be lost.
Q: Which layers can sync to LoongBones? A: Only raster layers sync; text, vector, adjustment, fill, group do not.
Q: Why can't some layers be deleted/merged? A: Those are layers already bound to LoongBones (blue link icon 🔗), protected from manual delete/merge to avoid breaking animation references.
Q: Can AI-generated images be undone? A: Yes. All AI operations go into the undo stack; press Ctrl+Z to roll back. The LoongCoins record is kept but the canvas reverts.
Q: Insufficient balance / generation failed? A: Top up when the balance is insufficient; on failure read the reason on the button (policy violation, timeout, network, etc.), click once to return to normal and retry.
Q: Do background removal / split cost LoongCoins? A: Yes, and they are recorded in the LoongCoins details, viewable anytime.
Q: Can I continue my file in Photoshop? A: Yes. Export PSD to open in PS; you can also import PS's PSD into LoongScales to keep editing.
Q: How do I split a combined image into multiple layers? A: Select the combined layer → the "Split Image" tab in the AI panel, which intelligently splits a portrait into multiple layers. For sprite-sheet images, use the "One-click Split" button in the Layers panel to split the sprite sheet into separate images.
